After decades of using Harry and David's to send impressive gifts, of late the quality and customer service have really taken dive. The company which used to pride itself on quality, now shoves any old bruised pear into a box and ships it.

When you call customer service (previously an industry leader) you are placed on hold until you are directed to and agent who knows little or less about the company and it's products.

It represents a very disappointing downturn in what was once a great company. The great Harry and David's must have been sold to some conglomerate which is churning out inferior products and trading on the previous company's laurels.
