Not once but twice I received a gift of pears that were tragic to look at: black spots, scabbed skins (perhaps a plant disease), shriveled up - the second time worse than the first. Their customer service referred to this as "my disappointment." I'd say the burden should have been on them to recognize that they have a major problem with quality control and they misrepresent their produce in their pictures.

Here, in fact, is what the real thing looks like and what is advertised.

What ever happened to truth in advertising and quality control? Shame.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Preferred solution: You have replaced the box with worse pears and are now refunding the gift giver. I think you need to address your quality control issue and false advertising..

I didn't like: Poor quality and customer service.
